Production Engineer- weld shop

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production activities for the Fabrication Department.
• Maintain and manage AS9100 and ISO documentation, including PDCA Sheet, DPR, Rejection Sheet, Route & Job Cards, PPM Sheet, 4M Sheet, Skill Matrix, and Machine Parameter Sheet.
• Handle manpower management, including scheduling shifts for welders and fitters.
• Balance production lines to ensure smooth workflow and optimize efficiency.
• Implement and maintain 5S and Just-in-Time (JIT) practices on the shop floor.
• Provide training to staff on Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, Material Handling, and other process improvement methods.
• Perform NDT (DPT inspection) to identify and resolve welding defects.
• Control and manage rejections, using tools like 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, and Why-Why Analysis.
• Supervise the operation and maintenance of TIG, MIG, Spot Laser Welding machines, Plasma Cutting, Laser Cutting machines, CNC Turning, Conventional Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Punching, and Bending machines.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare production performance and quality reports.
• Manage documentation for AS9100 external audits and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Motivate and guide team members to achieve production goals.
• Use ERP NAV for production management and maintain proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
