Principal Engineer- Kubernetes

Role & responsibilities

• Leads infrastructure & software development efforts from a technology perspective. This involves being intimately involved with all technical activities within the team (software development life cycle activities, code reviews, research, etc.)
• Identifies the appropriate deployment architecture based on the requirements and design elements
• Maintains, reviews and evolves architecture documents based on evolving system requirements and industry trends and technologies
• Own the system design, peer review, continuous deployment & observability.
• Actively participate in team meetings as part of Agile/ Scrum sprint based execution.

Preferred candidate profile

The successful candidate is used to wearing multiple hats, highly motivated, quality conscious with a strong attention to detail, and exhibits a history of achievements in their career to date.  

• Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience,
• Expert in designing & tuning K8s based deployments for reliability & scale
• Proficiency in use of K8s API & CLI, and related tooling with 5+ 
• Adept at infrastructure-as-code principles & proficient in one or more Linux based scripting languages such as Shell, Ruby, Python, Perl
• Working knowledge of one of High level programming language like Go, NodeJS, Java.
• Working knowledge of AWS or similar feature-rich public cloud service
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
