Junior Planning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Provide instructions to CNC/machine shop departments based on Plate Cutting Layout (PCL) provided by the design department.
• Utilize engineering drawings to meticulously identify and assess the raw materials required for production.
• Regularly input crucial data into the ERP system to maintain up-to-date records and facilitate seamless operations.
• Initiate and process purchase requests for paint materials, considering quality, quantity, and budgetary constraints.
• Monitor and track the status of incoming raw material shipments, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
• Generate comprehensive job cards within the ERP system for both fabrication and painting processes, ensuring clarity and efficiency in task allocation.
• Collaborate closely with the service team to coordinate dispatch vehicle requests, optimizing scheduling and resource utilization.
• Take ownership of dispatch documentation management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
• Perform Inspection Test Plans (ITP) as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
• Fill in for absent workers by assigning proxies as necessary.
