We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager, GTS Portfolio and Project Management to oversee technical service readiness for new product launches and product updates.

As a Project Manager for Technical Service Readiness, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful launch and update of our medical devices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, marketing, and customer support, to coordinate and execute projects from initiation to completion.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring technical service readiness, effectively managing resources, and driving project deliverables within specified timelines.

Job functions :

Project Planning and Execution :

- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for technical service readiness activities related to new product launches and product updates.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.

- Drive project execution, monitor progress, and take proactive measures to address any potential risks or issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including product service engineering, technical publications, supply chain, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, marketing, clinical applications, and technical services training.

- Facilitate regular project meetings, provide status updates, and ensure stakeholders are informed about project milestones and deliverables.

- Act as a liaison between different departments to resolve any conflicts or dependencies that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Technical Service Readiness :

- Develop and implement strategies for technical service readiness, including service documentation, training, spare parts management, and field support planning.

- Collaborate with the customer support team to define and implement service policies, procedures, and processes to ensure effective product support post-launch.

- Identify and assess potential risks or challenges related to service readiness and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

Project Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, risk assessments, and lessons learned.

- Prepare regular project status reports for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

- Conduct post-project evaluations to capture insights and identify areas for process enhancement and best practice sharing.

Standard Minimum Requirement :

Education :

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15yrs; Assoc.+11yrs; M. +4yrs; PhD+3yrs)

- The ability to fluently read, write understand and communicate in English

Experience (Years) :

- 5 years of relevant experience.

- 3 years of demonstrated leadership.

- Proven experience as a project manager.

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on driving results and delivering high-quality outcomes.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.

- A master's degree is preferred.

- Proven experience as a project manager in the medical device industry.

- Strong knowledge of medical device development processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements (e., FDA, ISO).

- Project management certifications (e., PMP) are highly desirable.

- A solid understanding of technical concepts and terminology relevant to the ophthalmology and medical device industries
