Big Data Testing Engineer - Telecom Roaming Domain (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Prepare specialized test setup / environments on Linux

- Understand the product and specific release requirement thoroughly and prepare test plan document.

- Deliver the best quality product based on committed timelines

- Debugging the failed cases and ensuring that right checks are added to take care of the failures.

- Enter problems and issues into the bug/requirement tracking tool, monitors and updates bug reports as needed including bug report closure.

- Provide timely update of test results and defect status to QE lead/manager.

- Take full responsibility or accountability of the assigned task and publish progress/risk/issues to immediate lead / manager / dev team.

- Interact with customer support team and provide them the due support to execute the UAT testcases.

- Deliver other duties as assigned by lead/Manager on/before time.

- Perform UI/UX, Functional, non-functional, API, Database, Regression, Performance, Security testing as per the need of the release.

Essential :

- 5 to 7 years of experience in telecom roaming domain protocol testing.

- Strong experience in the products HLR, HSS, PCRF, SGW, PGW and IMS core

- Strong experience in the protocols S6a, Cx, Dx, Gx, S5/S8 and Rx

- Strong working experience in the areas of Diameter, SIP, GTP, MAP, ISUP and CAMEL.

- Strong experience in call generation tools Seagull, EAST, SIPp, IXIA, Spirent, Tektronix, etc.

- Working knowledge on various database SQL / PGSQL / Couchbase/ ORACLE.

- Very good knowledge on complex Unix / Linux commands and scripting

- Must be a knowledgeable person passionate about testing and debugging complex issues

- Experience in Setting up E2E Test Environments for 2G/3G/4G/5G Test Labs

- Experience in Quality Testing with Apache Spark and Hadoop technologies.

- Knowledgeable & passionate about test automation in protocols and UI
Desirable :

- Experience in Test Automation AND/OR scripting languages i.e. Python or Java.

- Experience in Kubernetes, Micro Services and Docker Containers Testing

- Experience in BigData Analytics / ETL / Datawarehouse and the associated tools
