Create simple to use, engaging, high performing video streaming websites and web applications on a range of low end to high end devices and on a range of screen sizes from mobile browsers to high definition TVs. Lead the Client conversations and understand their needs. Be responsible for creating digital entertainment products that are used by millions of users. Work fast.
The media industry moves fast to meet launch timelines with big advertising and content production budgets at stake.
We make quick releases to receive customer and user feedback which helps us create the very best products on the market. Partner with designers, project managers, QA engineers, operations engineers, third party systems providers and customers. Think about and implement automation to make your teams high quality development as efficient as possible. At all times consider how to develop your code the right way for better maintenance by a wider team and for high performance instead of taking shortcuts to get the job done. Lead developers in current state as as the team grows over time. Be required to deliver projects on other technologies as the DIAGNAL business requires. Experience And Skills Required.
5 or more years of experience of front end web based solutions in a project services or product engineering organization. Excellent working knowledge of React JS, having hands on working experience of at least 3 years. At least 3 years in HTML, CSS, JavaScript at expert level. Experience leading a team. A solid understanding of browser system fundamentals, application performance optimization, and backend integration. Experience with developing highly polished consumer-facing websites with smooth interactivity and responsive behavior directly from design assets. Prior experience working in OTT, Media, E-commerce or Telecommunications Industries. Excellent communication skills, both with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Experience.
3 or more years of experience in Web TV Development on Samsung Tizen TV and LG webOS (or equivalent Web TV device platforms). 2 or more years experience with Shaka player, Bitmovin player or equivalent player with Live/VOD DRM encrypted streams. Upload your CV.
