Job Description

1. Financial Draft acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the Reporting Manager s ability to effectively lead the company Provide day-to-day strategic support which includes the preparation and routing of reports, documents, emails, presentation decks, ad hoc data requests, dashboards, etc. Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures Take initiatives to drive growth for DBSIL and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization 2. Customer Communicate directly, on behalf of the Reporting Manager, with Board members, staff, and others, on matters related to Reporting Manager s instructions Act as a liaison for smooth communication between the Reporting Manager s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff Work closely and effectively with the Reporting Manager to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately Assist in coordinating the agenda of senior management team meetings, and all-staff meetings Facilitate cross-divisional coordination of travel plans Follow up on contacts made by the Reporting Manager and support the cultivation of ongoing relationships 3. Operations Plan, coordinate and ensure the Reporting Manager s schedule is followed and respected Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Reporting Manager, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response for the same For various assigned deliverables, collect requisite data, build data models, derive insights, present findings Have a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keep the Reporting Manager updated about the same Assist board members with travel arrangements, lodging, and meal planning as needed Adhere to compliance with applicable rules and regulations set in bylaws regarding board and board committee matters, including advance distribution of materials before meetings in electronic/paper format Ensure that the Reporting Manager s bio is kept updated and respond to requests for materials regarding the same and the organization in general Edit and complete first drafts for written communications to external stake holders Ensure initiation and sensitization of the employees towards digitization and automation of the processes Focus on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization 4. Self/ Team Development Review and monitor performance of team members and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs Recommend training as required for team s development Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
