Senior Business Analyst - Manufacturing Domain

Role and Responsibilities:

- We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst in the Manufacturing Domain, responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions with or without the AS400 System the role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, excellent analytical skills, and experience with modern ERP/Manufacturing software systems OR AS400 Systems.

- Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design

- Deep understanding of the manufacturing processes, including production planning, scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and supply chain management

- A primary level of understanding of the ERP system operations and business process modeling tools is preferable

- Experience managing the lifecycle of applications from design and development through production, and distribution

- Understanding of supply chain dynamics and ability to optimize supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products

- Recommend and implement strategies in the application to optimize production efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve overall manufacturing performance via applications

- Leverage expertise in the AS400 system to support and optimize business processes

- Maintain and enhance AS400 applications, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the manufacturing operations

- Collaborate with IT teams to design, develop, and implement AS400-based solutions to ensure the system is configured and maintained to meet business needs

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

- Analyze and improve business processes in the Manufacturing industry using the AS400 system

- Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures

- Conduct regular reviews of system processes and recommend enhancements

- Facilitate meetings to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and deliverables

- Provide training and support to end-users of the AS400 system

- Utilize AS400 system data to generate reports and insights for decision-making

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the system

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools

- Ensure that the AS400 system complies with industry regulations and standards

- Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise the organization on necessary system adjustments

- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate the AS400 system with other business applications

- Support the development and implementation of new technologies and systems.

- Promote a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulations

- Experience with project management and data analysis tools

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

General Skills:

Requirements Management:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement

- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements across multiple domains

- Create detailed functional and non-functional requirements specifications

- Create and Maintain the Project Backlog based on the FSDs.

- Project Backlog sufficient of 2 Sprints in advance for technical teams

Develop business process models, data flow diagrams, and other relevant documentation (If required and applicable)

- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions

Stakeholder Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal as well as external stakeholders at all levels

- Effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts

- Work with stakeholders for user story approvals and feedback management

Solution Design:

- Contribute to the design and development of innovative business solutions

- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to support business needs

- Ensure solutions align with business strategy and industry best practices

Data Analysis:

- Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights

- Develop data-driven recommendations to improve business performance

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness

- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance
