Electrical Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee the electrical maintenance operations, automation systems, and equipment reliability in a high-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PLC drives, controllers, and servo motors to ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and enhance machine efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive electrical maintenance programs for all production machinery.
• Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC systems, servo motors, VFDs, and industrial automation equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical panels, control circuits, and automated production lines.
• Ensure efficient operation of motor control systems, power distribution, and instrumentation.
• Optimize PLC programming and drive settings to improve machine performance and reduce failures.
• Monitor and analyze machine downtime, electrical failures, and system breakdown trends.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve electrical system reliability.
• Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components while optimizing costs.
• Train and develop maintenance technicians on electrical troubleshooting, automation, and PLC programming.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and compliance reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Expertise in PLC programming, servo motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi or similar PLC platforms.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, sensors, and actuators.
• Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking maintenance activities.
• Strong knowledge of MTTR, MTBF and TPM
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of electrical safety regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in PLC programming, industrial automation, or maintenance and reliability.
• Experience in Industry 4.0 technologies, robotics, and IoT-based maintenance strategies.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA, HMI systems, and real-time process monitoring tools.
