Backend Developer - Magento (7-12 yrs)

Overview :

We are seeking a talented Magento Backend Developer with strong QA knowledge to join our dynamic team. This role requires a solid understanding of Magento architecture, backend development, and a keen eye for quality assurance-both manual and automated. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Magento Development :

- Develop, test, and maintain custom Magento modules and extensions.

- Optimize existing code for performance and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the Magento environment.

Quality Assurance :

- Conduct manual testing to ensure the functionality of Magento applications.

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.

- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to ensure a seamless integration of backend processes.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Documentation :

- Maintain technical documentation for system architecture, development processes, and testing procedures.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- Proven experience as a Magento Backend Developer (Magento 2 preferred).

- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

QA Skills :

- Familiarity with manual and automated testing methodologies.

- Experience with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, PHPUnit) is a plus.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Magento certification (e.g., Magento Certified Developer).

- Experience with other eCommerce platforms or frameworks.

- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
