Policy Associate

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Policy Associate to join Dezerv's team in Bangalore.

This individual will be responsible for developing and leading strategic partnerships and relationships with external stakeholders, including institutions, policymakers, and non-governmental organizations, while driving Dezerv's policy agenda.

The role requires a strong ability to represent Dezerv in external forums, manage key partnerships, and collaborate across internal teams to support the companys objectives.

Key Responsibilities:.

Program Development and Partnership Management:.

Develop current and new program partnerships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, regulators, and Fintech Partners.

Build strong relationships and maintain ongoing communications with key external partners to drive program success.

Stakeholder Engagement:.

Manage relationships with institutions, regulators and think tanks focused on policy issues.

Serve as the point of contact for policy discussions and collaborations.

Strategic Planning and Execution:.

Identifying emerging trends and opportunities for growth and scaling of initiatives.

Work closely with internal teams to devise proactive strategies for addressing key policy issues and building relationships with regulators and policy makers.

Public Communication and Advocacy:.

Prepare presentations on Dezervs position on key policy issues to a variety of audiences, including regulators and industry experts.

Prepare articles for discussions on policy to advance policy agenda.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:.

Partner with other Dezerv teams including product, brand, compliance, and sales teams, to ensure alignment on strategic outcomes and goals.

Coordinate internally across teams ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of progress and timelines.

Content Creation and Event Management:.

Support the creation of communications, educational, and marketing materials that align with Dezervs policy objectives and advocacy efforts.

Lead the ideation, development, and production of events, program elements, and collateral materials related to Dezervs policy initiatives.

Preferred Experience:.

Proven experience in public policy or related fields, ideally with a focus on digital policy.

Strong understanding of the public policy landscape and experience engaging with regulators, policymakers and external stakeholders.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in public speaking and advocacy.

Ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively..
