Key Responsibilities :
We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Fixed Income Sales & Distribution to lead our bond sales, to expand distribution channels, and to manage a high-performing sales team.
- Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to drive the distribution of fixed-income products across institutional and retail investors.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, wealth managers, mutual funds, insurance companies, family offices, and HNIs.
- Distribution Channel Expansion: Identify and onboard distribution partners, wealth managers, and financial intermediaries to expand market reach.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of individuals to scale business and enhance revenue growth
- Operations Management: Build and manage a small team of operations managers for settlement and clearing of bonds and coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure proper settlement of trades
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory aspects of trades while coordinating with internal compliance and external agencies as needed
- Revenue Growth: Drive sales performance, meet revenue targets, and optimize pricing strategies for fixed-income offerings.
What are we looking for?
- Prior Work Experience-: Candidate must possess 10 to 15 years of work experience in bonds market and should have worked with OBPPs, debt brokers, treasuries, mutual funds
- Industry network and relationships: The candidate must have a well-established network in the bonds market and IFA (Independent Financial Advisor) ecosystem, with strong connections across institutional investors, wealth managers, and financial intermediaries
- Growth Mindset: The candidate should have a strong desire to build and scale the debt business, driving it to new heights
- Education Qualifications: Candidates with education background in finance, commerce, accounting, business administration or similar fields would be preferred. Engineering candidates with relevant work experience and knowledge would also be considered. Candidates with MBA or CA qualifications would be a plus.
Compensation:
We seek star performers and offer above-market salaries along with ESOPs for the right candidate. This role provides the opportunity to work directly with the founders, gaining significant exposure beyond business development, including product management, technology, legal, and regulatory functions in a growing fixed-income environment.
Joining date and location:
- We are looking for candidates who can join immediately or have a notice period of 30 days.
- The role is a full-time work-from-office position based out of our Mumbai office.
