Energy Exemplar - DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline & IT Automation (5-6 yrs)

About the role :

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with of to enhance our development and operational processes.

You will drive automation, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

A strong foundation in scripting, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and networking fundamentals will enable you to build resilient and scalable infrastructure while ensuring seamless application delivery and support.

Department : Product Development.

Work Type : Hybrid (3 days a week in office).

Employment Type : Full time.

We are looking for :

- More than 4 years of experience in Devops.

- Well versed with Devops technologies, CI/CD Pipeline, automation.

- Good exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Good exposure to atleast one scripting language (e.g, Shell, Bash, Powershell, Python).

- Understanding of other CI/CD tools will be a plus.

- Exposure to any cloud technologies will be a plus (Azure/AWS/GCP).

- Windows and Linux server knowledge.

- Networking fundamental {Subnet, routes, ACL, Load balancer}.

- Azure [Storage Accounts, VMSS, Load Balancers].

- Aware about patching.

- Monitoring, triage, tech support.

- [ServiceNow, Pagerduty, SignalFx will be advantage].

Qualifications :

- Graduate/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while working both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain robust and efficient CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and technologies.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.

- Develop and maintain scripts and automation for various DevOps tasks using scripting languages like Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and timely software releases.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly and effectively.

- Monitor system performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and proactively address potential issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies.

- Contribute to the improvement of our overall DevOps practices and processes.
