DevOps Engineer - IAC Terraform (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- CI/CD Pipeline Management : Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI to automate testing, building, and deployment of applications.

- Cloud Platform Expertise : Work with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS is also a plus), including services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, AWS EKS, IAM, and more.

- Containerization & Orchestration : Manage and optimize Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters for scalable application deployments.

- Monitoring & Logging : Use monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk to ensure system performance and provide real-time logging for troubleshooting.

- Scripting & Automation : Write scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks and improve efficiency.

- Security Management : Implement and manage security policies, including secrets management and compliance, using tools like HashiCorp Vault and Keyvault.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues to ensure smooth operations.

- Collaboration Tools : Utilize tools like JIRA and Confluence for task tracking, managing workflows, and team communication.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices, including designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise systems.

- Solid hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI.

- Proficiency in Cloud Platforms like Azure (preferred), AWS, and/or Google Cloud, with a focus on core services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Functions, AWS EKS, IAM).

- Strong expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools like Terraform or Puppet.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.

- Comfortable working in complex, large-scale production environments.

- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps.

- Experience in building or supporting data warehouses is highly desired.
