BigIdea Technology Solutions - Senior AWS/DevOps Engineer - IAC Terraform (8-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, ECS, Load Balancing, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.

- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.

- Ensure the security and compliance of all cloud resources.

- Hands-on experience with AWS ECS (Must-Have) and AWS EKS (Good-to-Have).

- Manage containerized applications and optimize container performance.

- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.

- Automate deployments and streamline release processes.

- Deploy, maintain, and monitor Java web-based production applications using Docker containers.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across services and technology stacks.

- Monitor application performance and health using Splunk and CloudWatch.

- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using Bash, Groovy, JavaScript, Python.

- Automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

- Manage and maintain Linux servers (Amazon Linux, Ubuntu).

- Perform security audits and address CVEs.

- Work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance.

- Participate in Agile development processes.

Required Skills :

- AWS Expertise : Good knowledge of Amazon Web Services suite (EC2, ECS, Load Balancing, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.)

- Hands-on experience with AWS ECS (Must-Have) and AWS EKS (Good-to-Have).

- Strong experience with Terraform.

- CI/CD Tools : Solid experience with Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.

- Working experience in supporting Microservices (Deploying, maintaining, and monitoring Java web-based production applications using Docker containers).

- Strong knowledge on debugging production issues across services and technology stack.

- Application Monitoring : Experience with Splunk & CloudWatch.

- Experience with software build tools (Maven, and Node).

- Experience with scripting and automation languages (Bash, Groovy, JavaScript, Python).

- Experience with Linux administration and CVEs scan - Amz Linux, Ubuntu.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Oracle/SQL database maintenance experience.

- Experience with Elasticsearch.

- Experience with Serverless/container-based approaches.

- Experience in a high-volume distributed eCommerce environment.

- Experience with Nginx, Tomcat, and Apache.

- Experience with Cloudflare
