About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The

ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform, with a

passion for building and optimizing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. This role

involves close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline

deployment processes and enhance system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code, ensuring consistency and reproducibility of deployments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of applications and services.
• Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (or ECS).
• Manage and optimize cloud resources, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising performance.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM roles, network configurations, and automated compliance checks.
• Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar.
• Document infrastructure setups, processes, and operational workflows for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (or AWS ECS/EKS).
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Familiarity with serverless frameworks and architectures.
• Knowledge of observability tools like ELK Stack, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of database management and optimization for cloud services.
