Job summary:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build, deploy, and manage scalable, efficient systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to automate workflows, improve system reliability, and ensure seamless delivery of software updates.
Responsibilities:
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Automate build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery.
Infrastructure Management:
Develop and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities for critical applications.
Monitoring and Performance:
Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and optimal performance.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
Partner with security teams to implement DevSecOps practices and ensure system compliance.
Automation and Scripting:
Write scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages to automate repetitive tasks.
Enhance system efficiency by reducing manual intervention.
Version Control:
Manage version control systems (e.g., Git) and maintain best practices for branching, merging, and release management.
Containerization and Orchestration:
Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker.
Orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes, ECS, or similar platforms.
Cloud Services:
Work with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to optimize infrastructure and services.
Configure and manage cloud-native services like Lambda, RDS, S3, MKS etc.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
3+ years in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Expertise with an object-oriented programming language (Java, Scala, Python, Nodejs, Gradle)
Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools: Jenkins, Gitlab pipelines
Experience in Cloud ecosystems preferably on AWS
Configuration Management Tools and Infrastructure as a code: Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible
Knowledge of Source Code Control Systems and Workflows: Git and gitflow.
Experience with Unix environments
Experience with Containers and Container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
