Senior Power BI Developer - ETL/Power Query M (4-20 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with a proven track record of years in creating and managing BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and visualization, along with strong analytical skills to transform complex data into meaningful insights for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations tailored to business needs.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data-driven decision-making.

- Implement advanced DAX calculations and optimize existing models for performance.

- Create and manage datasets, dataflows, and data models to support reporting needs.

- Integrate Power BI with various data sources such as SQL Server, Azure, APIs, and cloud platforms.

- Develop and document technical specifications, workflows, and best practices for BI solutions.

- Perform data validation and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of reports.

- Train and guide team members on Power BI tools and usage.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : years in Power BI development and related BI tools.

- Strong knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.

- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, ETL processes, and data integration.

- Expertise in connecting to diverse data sources (SQL, APIs, Azure, etc.).

- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and other cloud-based technologies is a plus.

- Strong understanding of BI best practices and agile development methodologies.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
