Senior Elastic Search Developer - Performance Tuning (4-15 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Elastic Search Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Elastic Stack and experience in designing, developing, and maintaining search solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of search applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Search Development :

- Design, implement, and manage Elastic Search clusters and solutions.

- Develop and optimize queries for high-performance search functionality.

Data Integration :

- Index and manage large datasets from diverse data sources into Elastic Search.

- Integrate Elastic Search with external systems and APIs.

Performance Optimization :

- Monitor and fine-tune cluster performance, including query and indexing optimization.

- Configure and maintain Elasticsearch for scalability and high availability.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting :

- Troubleshoot and resolve Elastic Stack-related issues.

- Implement backup, recovery, and security protocols for Elasticsearch environments.

Collaboration and Documentation :

- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements.

- Document processes, configurations, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Elastic Stack development, including Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and Beats.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch query DSL and API.

- Proficient in programming languages like Python, Java, or Node.js for Elasticsearch integration.

- Hands-on experience with Logstash pipelines and data ingestion techniques.

- Knowledge of Elastic Security, Observability, and APM modules is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for Elasticsearch deployment.

- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
