Development Manager (JAVA & Microservices)

About the role:

This position is for Senior Development Manager for Invest One team. You would be responsible for a team working on complex financial product development in Mutual Fund Accounting portfolio. You would be required to do communication with business stake holders, technical / product engineering teams, and senior management. You would be working in high quality & client focused environment.

What you will be doing:

• 15+ years of experience in Java / J2EE technologies.
• 5 years experience in managing a team of 15-20 Java Full stack developers.
• Strong hands on Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Design Patterns, Angular, Microservices, Docker and DevOPS.
• Strong in OOPS concepts, DBMS Concepts, Design / Architecture abilities and troubleshooting skills.
• Implementation experience of designing scalable, high-performance systems.
• Strong exposure on secure design and development of web applications.
• Experience in using Agile / Lean practices and methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead, drive and contribute to multiple projects / initiatives.
• Proactive, result driven approach and be able to work with business side stakeholders.
• Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts.
• Attention to detail - track record of authoring high quality documentation
• Organized approach - manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements

What you will need:

• Bachelor s degree in computer engineering/ Computer Science.

• Year of Experience: 15+ years
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, J2EE technologies.
• Prefer candidates from Capital Markets/Asset Management Domains
• Exposure to COBOL development and Cloud will be added advantage
• Experience in using Agile / Lean practices and methodologies.
