Sr. Interior Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials to communicate ideas effectively.
• Create detailed interior design plans, including layouts, elevations, and 3D renderings.
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that align with the design vision and budget.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site visits to oversee the implementation of designs, resolve any issues, and ensure quality control.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and technology to bring fresh and innovative ideas to projects.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and correspondence.
• Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, project management, and exceptional service.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in corporate or commercial projects.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
• Excellent visual and spatial design skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials is a plus.
