Role Description

Our Home Loan Savings teams at Deutsche Bank - Private Bank (TDI) develop and maintain applications for home loan savings business of Private Customers (BHW). Changes are implemented on time to market challenges as well as on development of the application landscape by using Google Cloud technology. In addition to the SAP-based home loan savings and mortgage lending core systems the application portfolio also includes the business partner data systems, the connection to payment transactions, as well as the interface to the frontends and the data preparation and delivery for the banks dispositive systems.

We are acting as a pilot for the migration to the Google Cloud with our applications and are preparing for the transition to an agile collaboration model. We are now building a team in India to work closely with the existing team in Germany, leveraging virtual collaboration techniques and the diversity of our team to achieve our goals of continuous delivery, process improvement, and internalization of technical expertise.

As a Quality and Testing Engineer with focus batch test operation, you are responsible for operating the test environments for the applications in the Home Loan Savings domain. Your strong control skills coupled with systematic risk management enables you to ensure high availability of the test infrastructure. Your ability to abstract and your open way of dealing with people helps you to evaluate risks and anomalies together with a wide range of stakeholders and to address them appropriately.

Your key responsibilities

• You are part of the on and offshore team of test management in domain Home Loan Savings, which is responsible for planning, controlling and conducting project and release testing of our applications
• You manage the UC4 processes for the operation of the test environments guarantee a high degree of stability of the test environments in a cloud-based application landscape
• Together with your colleagues in the domain, you will further develop the test environments and tools and work on the development of KPIs for the measurability of system availability
• In the domain's test organization, you will work on the continuous development of the entire test process for test management, test infrastructure and test automation

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 8 years experience in a in a similar role.
• Expertise and long-term experience in UC4 operation of cross-application and cross-technology (test) infrastructure ideally in a cloud based application landscape
• Knowledge of various process models and related tools (HP-ALM, ADONIS, JIRA)
• relevant experience in the operation of SAP modules: ideally in CML, BCA, CMS, CRMor BASS
• High level of commitment, initiative and ability to work under time pressure as well as assertiveness and persuasiveness
• Openness to innovation and change
• Very good spoken and written English
