Role Description
Cash Management Operation is one of the key revenue contributors in Corporate Bank for DB India. The Head of Cash Operations is a critical and senior management position. The position holder through the management of a team is responsible to support transaction processing for CB & IB clients and meeting regulatory and compliance requirements in India.
The candidate must have strong knowledge and prior experience in managing large teams, multiple dynamic stakeholders, and demanding regulators. Product expertise is needed in managing Domestic and Cross Border payment processing for India. The role holder is also responsible for Regulatory, Risk & Control Management and remediation activities. Manage Risk Control Assessment, Data Privacy, Information Risk Management including Logical Access Management, Record Management, BCM, KYC, AML, service levels, appraisal, Reporting and tracking Risk Events and Control Log.

Your key responsibilities
The staff is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all types of payments Cheque, Cash, Domestic and Cross border, as well as the handling of investigations and related regulatory compliance. The candidate is expected to have sound knowledge of Foreign Exchange Management Act (Current and Capital account transaction) for cross border payment processing in India. This includes the processing of time-critical, complex transactions on behalf of the Bank’s internal and external clients, cash-related investigations involving enquiries from clients and internal stakeholders. It often involves complex or in some cases regulated tasks including interaction with clients, internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate should be familiar with regulatory requirements regarding Domestic and Cross border transaction including Nodal Account operations. In addition, the staff must ensure that procedures are properly documented to reduce processing risk and identify potential areas for process improvement whether internally within the Bank or for our clients.
Staff may need to deal with the escalation and remediation of client complaints as well as managing relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties at an appropriate level.
