IT and Cloud Control Implementation and Enablement Manager

The responsibilities of an IT and Cloud Control Implementation and Enablement Manager involve a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring compliance with IT controls, information security controls, and data management regulations

Your key responsibilities

• Control Implementation and Compliance: This role involves enabling control implementation and increasing the percentage of compliance with IT controls, Infrastructure migrations, information security controls, data and records management, and other regulations provided by the Risk and Control team. This includes providing guidance on requirements and centrally managing Risk and Control tasks.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: The manager works closely with various stakeholders, including IT Asset Owners (ITAOs), Portfolio Owners, Technical Information Security Officers (TISOs), Architects, Customer Service Managers (CSMs), and other control performers. They also collaborate with the Risk and Control team, CIO-1s, and audit teams to ensure key risks are mitigated and objectives are met.
• Centralized Task Management: Managing tasks centrally via a workbench tool and providing regular updates to all key stakeholders is a crucial part of the role. This includes participating in portfolio owner and CIO-1 Risk and Control calls to ensure control implementation.
• Training and Support: Supporting Risk Culture trainings within the organization in close collaboration with the Risk and Control and Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) teams. Additionally, the manager assists and trains ITAOs, decom factory teams, and application services teams.

Your skills and experience

• ITAO, DevOps, Engineering, IT Service Management, IT Governance or IT Project Management background.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, highly organized and disciplined.
• Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders. Ability to create and naturally maintain good business relationships with all stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in VUCA (Volatility Uncertainty Complexity Ambiguity) and highly dynamic environments.
• The candidate will typically have a rather limited technical hands on involvement. A high-level understanding on the products/technologies below is welcomed:
  • Databases;
  • Application/web servers (like J2EE based, especially JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic Server, Apache)
  • Management of security certificates.
  • Unix servers very basic administration
  • Microservices and SOA
  • Communication and encryption protocols (mainly HTTP(S), SSL)
  • Networking (firewalls, load balancers, etc)
  • High Availability Architecture.
  • GCP / Google Cloud Platform management
• Reasonable understanding and relevant experience in Agile-Scrum delivery and main tools (Jira & Confluence);
• 10+ years of work experience in IT;

Preferable skills:

• Experience working with distributed development teams;
• Experience in finance products
