Class A Surface Designer-ICEM (Catia V5)

Required skills:

• Three-dimensional shape interpretation of 2-D sketches.
• Surface building skills and familiarity with continuity, lead-in, curvature plots, crown, acceleration and a feel” for design. Should have worked min 2 programs and delivered.
• The ability to understand and work to engineering constraints, the scaffold and guidelines.
• New Product Development from sketch/Rendering to Release.
• Design and development of Class A-Surface data from concept to final design as per the design and manufacturing requirements within the timeline.
• Understanding Auto Studio language and terminologies to communicate effectively with the Studio Design team.
• Good at capturing the important Design Intent of sketch/Rendering provided by the design studio.
• Participating in design review meetings and provide solutions.
• Identification and resolution of design related issues during development till release.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing, assembly and feasibility requirements.
• Build high quality surfaces with appropriate patch network.
• Sound Knowledge in surface quality checks to ensure high quality (Highlight, PTC) surface release.
• Demonstrate good customer and cross functional relationships.
• Problem solving skills / Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic & Knowledge in MS office tools.
