We are seeking a visionary Engineering and Business Partner to lead our Physical Design Business Unit. This role is an exciting opportunity to drive both strategic and technical initiatives, managing a talented team while also engaging in hands-on physical design implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and inspire a remote team of 5-7 engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Successfully scale the team from 5 to 20 engineers within the first year, with a strategic vision for expanding to 100 engineers in the next three years.
Investment in Tools and Talent:
Work with state-of-the-art tools from Synopsys and Cadence, ensuring your team has the best resources to excel.
Mentor and develop both fresh graduates and experienced professionals into top-tier Physical Design engineers.
Vision for Growth:
Play a pivotal role in our long-term growth strategy, shaping a Physical Design team that will be at the heart of DesignNex s success.
Engage in our revenue-sharing model that directly rewards your contributions to the growth and performance of the business unit.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master s degree preferred
7+ years of experience in physical design implementation for ASIC or FPGA designs.
Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools, including Cadence Encounter, Synopsys ICC, and Mentor Graphics Calibre.
Strong understanding of ASIC design flows and methodologies, including RTL synthesis, timing closure, and physical verification.
Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, or Python for automation and design flow enhancements.
Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
