Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge

Essential

• Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical)
• 5+ years of experience in solar energy design and Project including system layout, electrical design, optimization, equipment selection and contractor finalization.
• Strong knowledge of solar design, engineering principles and Project execution. Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, and other solar design software.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within the team and with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Develop Technical Specification of Solar Projects for EPC Contractor finalization.
• Carry out of the Project Technical optimization to improve project profitability and create value.
• Review EPC offer, lead technical discussion, clarify EPC queries and finalization of Project Specification for Contract
• Responsible for EPC design review and approval. Collaborate internally within the team and external consultants to finalize the project design including design documentation, layout drawings, electrical diagrams, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Key point of contact point for EPC from engineering team during Project execution.
• Collaborate with procurement team to finalize EPC contractor and source high-quality components and materials for solar PV installations, maintaining cost control without compromising quality.
• Audit and approval of new EPC contractors.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in solar PV design. Integrate innovative solutions into project development to enhance performance and sustainability.
