As our Design Engineer, you will be our in-house expert to design, develop and provide engineering services for the Marketing Technology products. You will especially bring your expertise and design knowledge for all Mineral Processing products to help us meet customer expectations and deliver outstanding results.

You will be a hands-on and solution-focused engineer who will perform solid modelling, detailed drafting, analysis, reverse engineering, and other technical requirements for product offerings for Bradken and continually contribute to better output that meets the customer s expectations.

You will have a naturally collaborative style of working and will build customer and stakeholder relationships that facilitate their involvement in the testing and validation of new products, solutions and services to provide Bradken with a market advantage.

Always seeking opportunities for improvement, you will design, develop and customize products and service offerings that are fit for purpose for our customers and provide the highest standard of technical support on an ongoing basis.

You are a problem solver who will assist with product failures and provide feedback and opportunities for improvement of products in line with internal standards.

As a data-driven and detail-oriented engineer, you will conduct analyses using hand calculations, and ensure all appropriate checks are in place for models, drawings, and other technical requirements are compliant with standards and capture (documentation) of engineering requirements accurately within a short turnaround time.

As a Key Technical Criteria:

Degree in mechanical engineering or similar stream with preferred 4 years of experience.
Experience managing a variety of engineering projects at once.
Highly skilled in CAD design software, including 3D modelling and 2D drafting, with a preference for using NX and Teamcenter.
Proficiency in reading and applying GDT and conducting tolerance studies.
Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes and techniques is required.
Experience with designing gauges, jigs and fixtures would be highly regarded.

This role is based in the Coimbatore City Office.
