1 Tata Projects Deputy Manager Job

Job Role:

• Requirements Consolidation: Efficiently consolidate Building material procurement requirements across PAN India projects, considering quality and capacity needs.
• Supplier Identification: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers capable of meeting quality and quantity requirements.
• Negotiation and Cost Savings: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements and drive cost savings through strategic sourcing and alternate vendor development.
• Cross-functional coordination: Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and the finance department to ensure seamless and timely supplies of material.
• Price Analysis: Analyze price trends in the market to optimize costs and forecast fund requirements, contributing to improved cash flow management.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks that could impact project timelines or budgets.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Preferably in Civil Engineering)
• Proven experience of 4-7 years in procurement or supply chain management
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and cost management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of building material industry trends, standards, and regulations.
• Majority with procurement software and tools (SAP & ARIBA)
