Role & responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily packing operations to ensure timely and accurate packing of products.
• Implement and maintain packing protocols and standards to ensure the safety and quality of products during transit.
• Allocate tasks to the packing team, monitor performance, and maintain productivity levels.
• Oversee inventory of packing materials and coordinate with the store department for replenishment.
• Conduct regular quality checks on packed products to ensure compliance with export standards.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch of packed goods.
• Maintain records of packed goods, dispatch schedules, and inventory.
• Train and guide packing staff on proper techniques, safety measures, and product handling procedures.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in the packing process to avoid delays or errors.
• Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and adheres to health and safety regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 5+ years in a packing or warehouse supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing/export environment.
• Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelors degree in any discipline (preferred).
• Technical Knowledge:
• Familiarity with packing processes and materials for export-grade packaging.
• Knowledge of handling fragile or high-value items such as metal hardware.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate packing and documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer tools for record-keeping.
• Language: Proficiency in Hindi and English for effective communication.
