Job Description
Design and implement Snowflake data warehousing solutions
Develop and maintain Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, and views
Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure proper configuration and optimization of the Snowflake platform
Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related issues
Create and maintain technical documentation for Snowflake solutions
Provide guidance and support to other team members on Snowflake-related matters
Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features, tools, and best practices
Develop and implement Snowflake security protocols and data access controls
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
Proven experience as a Snowflake Subject Matter Expert, with at least 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Snowflake data warehousing solutions
In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including Snowflake data warehousing, data sharing, and data integration
Experience with ETL and data integration tools, such as Talend, Informatica, or Matillion
Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize query performance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Experience with data governance and data security principles
Snowflake certification is a plus
