Senior Consultant | Fusion Financials, Fusion Tax | Mumbai | Oracle

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant with expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Tax, and Fixed Assets (FA) modules. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Oracle Cloud Financials, and a CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification is highly preferred. Proficiency with tools such as Jira and Confluence is an advantage. This is a client-facing role where you will drive the financials track independently from start to finish, ensuring successful project delivery.

• Oracle Financials Implementation: Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials, with a focus on GL, AP, AR, Tax, and FA modules.
• Track Ownership: Take full ownership of the financials track, driving it independently from requirement gathering to successful go-live.
• Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for clients in the financials domain, ensuring effective communication, managing expectations, and providing regular updates.
• Solution Design & Configuration: Design and configure solutions in GL, AP, AR, Tax, and FA to meet client business needs while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and best practices.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resources, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Financial Expertise: Leverage your financial background, preferably as a CA, to provide clients with expert advice and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and proactively manage them to avoid delays or issues during the implementation.
• Tool Utilization: Use Jira for tracking project tasks and Confluence for documentation and team collaboration.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare comprehensive project reports, including status updates and detailed documentation of configurations and processes.
• Client Training & Post-Implementation Support: Provide training and post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption of Oracle Cloud Financials.
• Process Improvement: Suggest process improvements and best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations through Oracle Financials.

• Proven experience in implementing Oracle Cloud Financials, with specific expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Tax, and Fixed Assets (FA) modules.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or significant financial domain expertise is highly desirable.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira and collaboration tools like Confluence is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to manage stakeholders and drive projects independently.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and Oracle Cloud best practices.
