• This position involves creating age-appropriate lesson plans, fostering social and cognitive development, and collaborating with parents and colleagues in the Early Childhood Education department

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Planning:Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for kindergarten students
• Create engaging and hands-on activities to support early learning objectives
• Classroom Management:Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere
• Social and Emotional Development:Foster social and emotional growth through interactive and cooperative activities
• Encourage a sense of community and teamwork among students
• Individualized Instruction:Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of young learners
• Provide individualized support and encouragement to each child
• Parent Communication:Maintain open and regular communication with parents
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss students' progress and address concerns
• Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other kindergarten teachers and staff in the Early Childhood Education department
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities
• Safety and Well-being:Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
• Implement health and safety protocols in the classroom
• Creative Learning Environment:Create an environment that stimulates creativity and curiosity
