Key Responsibilities

Design and architect Oracle databases for enterprise applications ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
Collaborate with application developers and solution architects to translate business requirements into database designs.
Implement database performance tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring strategies.
Develop and enforce database best practices, security policies, and data retention strategies.
Conduct database upgrades, migrations, and backup/recovery strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Oracle Database Architect, with expertise in designing databases for large-scale enterprise applications.
Strong knowledge of Oracle DBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
Experience with high availability (RAC, Data Guard) and scalability techniques.
Familiarity with database security, backup/recovery strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
