Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer cum Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in developing Android applications using Java and Kotlin , along with proven leadership capabilities in managing and guiding development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Mobile app developers, ensuring smooth project execution and delivery.
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Manage the development process through GitHub / Bitbucket and track progress via Jira .
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
- Collaborate with the iOS team and gain basic knowledge of iOS development for effective cross-platform development.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android development using Java and Kotlin .
- Proven experience in leading a team of developers and managing end-to-end project delivery.
- Proficient in version control systems such as GitHub / Bitbucket .
- Strong knowledge of Jira for project management and tracking.
- Familiarity with Android design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of iOS development is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
