Scrub Nurse

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assists the surgical team during operations by providing support with sterile techniques, instrumentation, and patient positioning.
  
• Maintains a clean and organized operating room environment to ensure optimal conditions for surgeries.
  
• Provides preoperative care to patients undergoing gynecological procedures, including preparing them for anesthesia and monitoring vital signs.
  
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized plans of care for patients requiring surgical interventions.
  
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and standards of practice.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 7-12 years of experience as a Scrub Nurse in an OT setting (gynecology & general surgery).
  
• B.Sc Nursing degree from a recognized institution.
  
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures related to operation theatre management.
  
• Proficiency in using various medical equipment such as suction machines, forceps etc.
