Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Architecture Design :

- Develop and implement cloud infrastructure designs leveraging AWS and OCI that meet business requirements for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Deployment and Configuration :

- Deploy and configure cloud services and applications on cloud platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

Monitoring and Optimization :

- Monitor cloud environments on AWS and OCI for performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.

- Implement optimization strategies and recommend improvements.

Billing Optimization :

- Analyse cloud usage and billing data for AWS and OCI.

- Implement strategies to optimize cloud spending, including identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing resource utilization, and configuring alerts for budget thresholds.

Security and Compliance :

- Ensure that cloud systems adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Automation and Scripting :

- Create and maintain scripts and automation tools for managing cloud infrastructure.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is essential.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and project managers, to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and applications on AWS and OCI.

Troubleshooting and Support :

- Provide advanced support for cloud-related issues, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for cloud environments.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes related to AWS and OCI.

- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications are a plus.

Experience : Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cloud engineering, with extensive experience in designing and managing AWS and OCI environments.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in cloud services and tools, including compute, storage, networking, and security.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

- Programming/Scripting : Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Certifications : Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Engineer, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional, are highly desirable.
