The Communication Designer will play a key role in shaping Decathlon Sports India's brand presence by creating engaging visual and video content across multiple channels. Working closely with store teams, online teams, and marketing verticals, the role involves designing compelling campaigns, crafting impactful motion graphics, and producing high-quality videos. The goal is to build brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and enhance Decathlons storytelling through creative multimedia content.
Responsibilities:
1. Visual & Campaign Design
Conceptualize and design end-to-end marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment across digital, print, and in-store channels.
Develop visually engaging layouts for visual assets across social media, websites, emails, RCS, WhatsApp, and in-store branding while ensuring brand consistency.
Work on seasonal promotions, product launches, and brand campaigns to enhance visibility and engagement.
Design promotional materials for events, product launches, and commercial sales.
2. Video & Motion Graphics Creation
Produce high-quality videos and motion graphics for marketing campaigns, product promotions, and brand storytelling.
Edit and enhance video content for social media, in-store screens, and advertising platforms using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Work on short-form videos (reels, ads) and long-form content (brand films) to drive audience engagement.
3. Print and In-store Communication
Design print materials, including posters, hoardings, banners, POS materials, and brochures, maintaining strong visual identity.
Optimize in-store branding through digital touchpoints and interactive content.
Ensure brand consistency and messaging coherence across physical and digital touchpoints.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration & Execution
Work closely with marketing, retail, e-commerce, and sports teams to align campaign messaging and execution.
Adapt campaign designs based on insights from performance metrics, customer engagement, and feedback.
Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality creative output.
Requirements:
1. Education & Experience
A degree in Graphic Design, Visual communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
2 - 5 years of experience in graphic design and video editing, preferably in retail, advertising, or media.
A portfolio of previous advertising/print/digital work is a must.
2. Technical Skills
Graphic Design: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Video Editing & Motion Graphics: Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other video editing tools.
Typography & Layout: Understanding of effective design composition, color theory, and branding.
Gen Ai: Leverage Gen Ai and new trends in design to optimise designs.
