Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Retail Sales Officer to join our Tanishq Jewellery Store. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of jewelry products, and a flair for delivering exceptional customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers in selecting jewelry based on their preferences, needs, and budget.
• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of gold, diamond, platinum, and gemstone jewelry.
• Provide detailed product information, including pricing, certification, and craftsmanship.
• Handle customer queries, objections, and concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales revenue.
• Process customer purchases, payments, and invoices accurately.

2. Product Knowledge & Store Presentation

• Stay updated on Tanishqs latest collections, promotions, and industry trends.
• Ensure the display counters are well-maintained, clean, and aesthetically appealing.
• Educate customers on gold purity, diamond grading, and making charges.

3. Inventory & Store Operations

• Assist in stock management, tagging, and daily audits.
• Ensure proper handling of jewellery to prevent damage or loss.
• Report stock shortages, customer feedback, or any operational concerns to the store manager.
• Follow security protocols and handle cash/card transactions responsibly.

4. Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
• Collect and update customer details for personalised follow-ups and special promotions.
• Assist in after-sales services like resizing, repairs, or customisation requests.

5. Compliance & Brand Standards

• Adhere to Tanishqs standard operating procedures (SOPs) and sales policies.
• Maintain professionalism, hygiene, and a positive store ambiance.
• Ensure ethical selling practices and compliance with industry regulations.
