Position: Dean
1. Heading the Overall Department assigned:
He / She shall be responsible for organizing/planning regular classroom teaching (daily basis),
Third Party Assessments/Expert talk/Client E-Tour and Placement interviews
2. Capacity utilization as per the standard procedure, and trainees intake.
The efforts should be made to effectively utilize the training capacity (mandated seat as per
intake cycles i.e.: 120/batch) with a goal to perform with Distinction in the SCVT exams along
with 100% Placements.
3. Preparing the Annual budget of the department and ensuring the expenses under the
limit.
4. Developing auxiliary revenue streams:
Example: “K.C STUDENTS PRODUCTION/SEVA KENDRA on-site production shop”.
5. Coordinating with external agencies for the quality improvement in training
by conducting regular Third Party Assessments.
6. Technical competency building through industry attachment:
by organizing Industrial Visits/Workshops/Guest lectures through their industrial contacts.
7. Standardizing course contents of the trade as per curriculum and requirement of
recruiters.
The Deans should work closely with the Placement Teams as well as the clients where the
candidates get placed, frequently visiting the client location as well so as to understand the gap
between our training and their expectations.
8. Ensuring on time completion of Academic, and Non-Academic programs as per
curriculum.
The Deans should formulate a schedule with Calendar for smooth operation and minimal
variance.
9. Leading the team for outcome-based activities and capturing the performance of
trainers and trainees.
They should develop tools like: “STUDENTS PERFORMANCE TRACKER” with clear
performance metrics on technical productivity, soft-skills, behavioral outcomes.
10. Ensuring 100% OJT, placement, and retention of the trainees with repeat employer
intake.
11. Planning, and implementing improvement projects for cost management, revenue
increase or productivity improvements on campus.
