Job Description

Role & responsibilities


1. Develop and Execute Recruitment Plans

  • Work with hiring managers on recruitment planning meetings in order to determine headcounts, urgency of positions etc.
  • Create job descriptions.
  • Lead the creation of recruitment and interviewing plans for each open position.
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions by adhering to recruitment turn around time (TAT).
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruitment plans.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of the need.
  • Determine new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
  • Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
  • Utilize the Internet for recruitment. (Company websites, job sites & social networking sites)

2. Network through Industry Contacts, Association Memberships, Trade Groups and Employees

  • Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.
  • Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
  • Create contacts within the industry.
  • Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings.
  • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.

3. Coordinate and Implement Campus Recruitment Initiatives

  • Develop lasting relationships with colleges to aid in recruitment.
  • Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase awareness regarding the company on campus.

4. Administrative Duties and Record Keeping

  • Manage the use of recruiters and headhunters.
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Conduct prescreening interviews.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (Internal Recruitment Tracker).
  • Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees and maintaining MIS for the same.
  • Assist in writing and forwarding rejection letters.
  • Assist in interviewing and selecting employees.
  • Assist in preparing and sending offer packages and maintaining MIS for the same.
  • Assist in preparing and sending new employee orientation packages.
  • Assist in the provisioning and disbursement of resourcing costs.
  • Perform other special projects as assigned
  • Maintain risk management statistics for Vendors
  • Assist in the preparation of Dashboard data and MIS required from time to time.

  • Excellent understanding of the business.
  • Writes & speaks clearly, accurately, and concisely
  • Possesses strong negotiation skills and is able to convince others easily.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness whilst maintaining MIS
  • Uses resources effectively and efficiently
  • Expertise in Excel & PowerPoint
