Job Description
- A highly motivated, do-it-yourself individual who thrives in fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines, self-manage timelines and work in a team environment.
- Must be able to motivate & manage a team to collectively deliver results.
- Must be able to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
- Strong creative flair with knowledge of emerging fashion textile & market trends.
- Adept with research, concept development & overall collection planning.
- Adept with taking concepts from initial stages till the final design collection, layouts & product application
- A strong eye for texture, colour, print, pattern, surface ornamentation & fabric manipulation for fashion textiles.
- Proficient in creating repeats, colour separation of artwork & creating colourways.
- In-depth technical understanding of fabrics.
- In-depth understanding of printing & embroidery techniques.
- Proficiency in design softwares (Adobe Suite) is a must.
- Strong communication & presentation skills will be a definite plus.
