Job Description
- Conduct regular and scheduled visits to branches across India to assess security measures, observe operational procedures, and identify potential vulnerabilities related to financial crime and security. Prepare reports summarizing observations and recommendations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to branch staff on topics related to fraud prevention and awareness, Code of Conduct, regulatory compliance and other internal policies. Maintain training records.
- Perform on-site verification of collateral securing stressed assets to mitigate risks associated with potential loan defaults or fraudulent activities. Document findings and report discrepancies.
- Actively monitor branch activities for suspicious behaviour or transactions, reporting any potential concerns.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing findings from branch visits, training sessions, and collateral verifications.
- Analyse trends and patterns to identify areas requiring enhanced measures or investigative actions.
- Driving the periodic vigilance calendar and vigilance awareness week as planned.
- Maintain effective communication with branches/clusters, compliance officers, and other relevant stakeholders to share information, address concerns, and ensure consistent implementation of laid down practices and processes.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial crime investigation.
- Strong understanding of financial crime risks and risks.
- Understanding of banking products and services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel frequently to various branch locations.
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Graduate/ Post-Graduate
- Experience in Internal Audit will be added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Macros and Pivots), MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
