Job Description

Db4Cloud Technologies,Inc is a leading cloud solutions provider offering innovative cloud technologies to optimize business operations. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. If you are passionate about cloud technologies and eager to work with industry-leading tools like Atlassian , we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Support in troubleshooting cloud-based environments to ensure smooth operations.
Work on provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud resources (servers, databases, networks).
Collaborate with senior engineers to automate and optimize cloud infrastructure tasks.
Ensure security best practices in cloud environments, including data encryption and IAM (Identity Access Management) configuration.
Document cloud configurations, deployments, and operational tasks using Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira).
Participate in cloud-related projects, including migration, scaling, and disaster recovery.
Use Jira for task tracking, sprint planning, and workflow management.
Monitor cloud performance and implement changes to improve scalability and efficiency.
Support the DevOps team in setting up CI/CD pipelines.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and certifications.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Basic understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for cloud automation is a plus.
Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira for issue tracking and Confluence for documentation.
Understanding of security practices in cloud environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Associate Engineer.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is an added advantage.
Experience using Atlassian products for cloud project management is a plus.
