Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the GCC operations to deliver profitability, compliance with all regulations (including tax), scalable, cost-effective, and high-quality services across key business functions. Your role is to ensure optimal resource utilization for maximum efficiency, achieved through close partnership with Business Function leaders, without directly managing or controlling core business functions.
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the organization
- Foster alignment across verticals represented within the GCC to ensure cohesion and consistency with organizational objectives.
- Establish the GCC as a center of excellence, driving innovation, continuous improvement, and the adoption of best practices.
- Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure success
- Manage the GCC to ensure it remains profitable for the company without the need for funding from the corporate office
- Oversee day-to-day GCC operations to ensure efficient, high-quality and consistent service delivery aligned with SLAs, KPIs, and business priorities.
- Develop and refine operating models, processes, and technologies to optimize scalability, resource utilization, and productivity.
Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- 10 years+ experience managing and running shared services, GCCs, or similar operational functions including from a financial aspect.
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-functional teams and large-scale transformations.
- Experience with implementing and managing enterprise-wide technology systems
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, including automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Solid understanding of compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Proven experience in managing tax-related responsibilities, including tax filings, transfer pricing, tax audits, and tax notices
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws, international tax regulations, and transfer pricing principles
- Managing multi-dimensional reporting, preparing financial statements, managing financial audits, improving processes etc
- Financial acumen and extensive experience in managing large-scale budgets.
- Proven expertise in process optimization in operational models like shared services or global capability centers.
