Education Counsellor

Job Description :-

1. Respond to face to face enquiries and enquiries visa phone and email in a timely manner, with accurate and relevant information.
2. Process and submit applications to institutions, obtain offers and facilitate enrolments in a timely manner.
3. Build effective relationships with education institution staff to support timely application processing.
4. Assist students with on-arrival issues or and refer to appropriate agencies where necessary
5. Build strong relationships with network counsellors to enable ongoing support of students onshore. Attend client briefings, workshops and visits to institutions to support the development of knowledge of institutions and establish relationships with key contacts.
6. Work with Business Unit / Operations Managers and institution representatives to developing strategies to effectively promote institutions.
7. Identify and leverage opportunities to increase cooperation, efficiency and operational effectiveness between student placement and IELTS operations.
8. Effectively present relevant information to students, clients and other key stakeholders as required.

*Required Skills :-*

1. Educated to bachelors degree level or equivalent.
2. Fluent in English
3. Experience of working in a sales driven environment with a strong focus on achieving individual and team based targets.
4. Knowledge of education institutions, admission processes, immigration requirements and their international operations.
5. Outstanding communication skills and able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders with varying needs (students, parents, institution representatives, colleagues etc.).
6. Excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
7. Customer focused, with a passion for providing outstanding service.
8. Highly effective relationship building and relationship management skills.
9. Effective team worker, supporting colleagues and contributing positively to overall teams success.
10. Ability to proactively identify, analyze and solve problems effectively.
11. Sound judgement and the ability to make decisions and act with integrity, in the best interests of the company.
12. Strong IT skills Microsoft Office suite
13. Experience of education counselling.
14. Work and / or study experience in a relevant destination country.
