Job Title: Payroll Specialist - HROps (India Payroll and Compliance)

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Payroll Specialist to join our HROps team, focusing on India Payroll and Compliance. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in core payroll processing and handling end-to-end compliance responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees in India, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements across multiple locations (Pune, Hyderabad, and Bangalore).
• Handle statutory compliance, including but not limited to income tax, provident fund (PF), employee state insurance (ESI), professional tax (PT), and other regional labor laws.
• Manage compliance documentation, reports, and audits for the assigned locations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to payroll-related policies and regulations.
• Lead audit front-end activities, working with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits.
• Ensure payroll data integrity and maintain confidentiality.
• Address employee queries related to payroll and compliance in a professional manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indian labor laws and payroll regulations.

Key Requirements:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in core payroll processing and end-to-end compliance management.
• Solid understanding of payroll systems and compliance requirements for locations in Pune, Hyderabad, and Bangalore.
• Audit front-ending experience, with an ability to manage audit processes effectively.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and address employee inquiries.
