Job Description:

As a PowerBI Architect at DataFactZ, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting reporting solutions for our enterprise clients. You will be responsible for developing data models, ETL packages, and reports using Power BI, while applying best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will work on data optimization, data integration, and data warehousing to deliver valuable insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand and analyze business requirements in the BI context, designing data models to transform raw data into actionable insights.

• Create interactive dashboards and visually engaging reports using Power BI.
• Analyze data and present findings through reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts, conducting efficient detailed analysis.
• Write and optimize DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
• Create informative charts and document data using algorithms, parameters, models, and relationship explanations.
• Perform data warehouse development and SQL querying for optimal results.
• Leverage expertise in MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS, TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX.
• Work with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with Report Builder. Develop and maintain paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder
• Familiarity with other BI platforms and experience in migrating reports and dashboards to Power BI.
• Azure Cloud Certifications specific to Data & Analytics.
• Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Certification.
• Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• PowerBI Deployment: Extensive experience in deploying PowerBI on-prem solutions for external reporting.
• Architectural Skills: Applied architectural and engineering concepts to design scalable, maintainable, secure, and reliable solutions. Expertise in solution architecture of the PowerBI stack with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and authentication.
• Portal Integration: Proficiency in integrating PowerBI content into external portals.
• SSO: Optional but desirable expertise in implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) with power authorization.
• Cloud Data and BI Solutions: Ability to develop cloud-based data and BI solutions to meet enterprise requirements.
• BI Tools: Extensive experience in BI tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, MSTR, Qlick etc.
• RDBMS Platforms: Hands-on experience with RDBMS platforms, including SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, AWS Redshift etc.
• Data Modeling: Experience in designing solutions for aggregated facts using metadata.
• Database and BI Architecture: In-depth knowledge of database and BI architecture design.
• Data Migration: Experience in migrating reports and dashboards from traditional to modern BI tools.
• Data Management: Managed high volumes of data at one-time load.
• Optimization: Worked on optimizing data modeling, database, and BI solutions.
• Technology Specifications: Developed technology specifications to ensure optimal access and usefulness.
• Data Visualization: Good understanding of data visualization tools.
• Business Intelligence: Participated in the development of business intelligence solutions.
• Data Modeling: Ability to create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• ETL Processes: Developed transformation queries, views, and stored procedures for ETL processes and process automations.
