Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Data Scientist to join our AI/ML team. As a fresher, you will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in machine learning, data science, and natural language processing (NLP). You will assist in developing and deploying machine learning models, analysing large datasets, and contributing to the advancement of AI technologies.
The Junior Data Scientist will assist in building and fine-tuning machine learning models and analysing large datasets. Collaborating with experienced professionals, they will process structured and unstructured data, implement algorithms, and support model testing and optimization. This role provides hands-on experience with programming languages and ML frameworks, offering a valuable opportunity to grow in the field of data science and machine learning.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and fine-tuning machine learning models for various applications.
- Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to process and analyse structured and unstructured data.
- Implement algorithms and techniques for data classification, regression, clustering, and prediction tasks.
- Assist in preparing, cleaning, and managing datasets to train models for optimal performance.
- Support in testing, evaluating, and optimizing machine learning model performance.
- Document processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Python or other programming languages used in data science.
- Understanding of Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts.
- Familiarity with popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Eagerness to learn and explore new AI/ML techniques.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Exposure to ML libraries like Hugging Face, Keras, or OpenAI models (preferred).
- Familiarity with data preprocessing tools such as Pandas, NumPy, or Matplotlib (preferred).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Internship experience or academic projects in data science, AI, or machine learning is a plus.
