Redis Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Extensive hands-on experience on Redis
• Install, configure, upgrade Monitor, and patch databases.
• Coordinate the allocation of system storage and plan future storage requirements for the database.
• Coordinate, modify, and maintain the Redis database and structures.
• Analyse, implement & and maintain the Redis database system and data security.
• Develop & and implement processes and procedures to monitor and tune databases.
• Planned, developed, and implemented processes and procedures to back up and recover the database information.
• Plan, develop, and implement processes and procedures to maintain archived data on appropriate storage devices.
• Analyse, document and present database hardware and technology requirements Continually improve database administration standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Review database development activities to ensure conformance with design specifications.
• Participate in and integrate database design with data access development and implementation.
• Provide comprehensive database troubleshooting.
• Performance Tuning
• Configure and monitor Redis DB instances using the Redis Admin tool and knowledge of RedisInsight.

Requirements

• 4+ years of industry experience in Redis Database administration in production environment.
• Hands-on experience in Redis database and structures, Backup and restore.
• Good knowledge and experience in Redis Troubleshooting.
• Ability to Configure, optimize and maintain Redis databases.
• Awareness on Redis Admin tool and knowledge of RedisInsight.
